Marine Corps Toys For Tots has been our passion since 2003 when we established the local chapter as a presence in Panama City and Bay County. As Chairman, John Shepard assisted in building a program that has raised over 20,000 toys for children that otherwise would not receive toys for Christmas. We are tremendously proud to assist the Marine Corps in this yearly opportunity! |

Since 2003, Making Strides has been a central focus for our company. Having been a Presenting Sponsor for two consecutive years and a Flagship Sponsor for a year, we believe that breast cancer, more than any other disease, affects our customers, our community, and ourselves so mercilessly. We field a team every year, and we have been recognized as Bronze Striders for two years, raising over $2500 in addition to our sponsorship money. |

Breast Cancer Research
Because support for breast cancer research is so essential to eradicating the disease, Carpet One Floor & Home has made a commitment to contribute funds through our Carpet One Floor & Home Welcomes Your Support campaign. Carpet One Floor & Home donates 25% of the purchase price of our exclusive pink ribbon welcome mats to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (US) and the Canadian Cancer Society (CAN) in support of breast cancer research.
The spring 2009 campaign ran from March 1 to May 31 and featuref 10 new designs for spring and summer. Look for new designs hitting the stores this fall.

Animal Welfare
Our pet-friendly Lees products led us to partner with animal welfare charities through the Muddiest Buddies campaigns. Most recently, we partnered with the Delta Society, a leading international resource on the human-animal bond. A core program is Pet Partners, in which over 10,000 volunteers are trained and registered so they can safely and effectively share the healing power of their pets with hospitalized patients, seniors in assisted living care centers, patients in hospice care, children learning to reading, and so much more.
